Reclaim the Curb Appeal of Your Home
When you first move into a house there are such aspirations to keep the exterior looking its best. It is not too long after that things change. You did not pass you your original wish of maintaining true curb appeal, but life takes over. Next thing you know there are mix matched garden decorations strewn about, sports equipment at the entryway, and garden tools lying about.
So, you started to plant something during the weekend, and got called away from it. Then, you and your kids returned home late after a long day at the park where you played all the outdoor games you could think of, but never retrieved the materials from outside the door. As for those garden decorations, you were given them as gifts, and felt compelled to put them out, “for a while”.
Well, you know what you have to do, whip things into shape. Follow that by laying some family “ground rules” for the exterior of the house. Name clutter as the enemy, and make a game of fighting it off. Create a chart that tracks who keeps things in order, and give a prize for such concerted efforts.
You can have that inviting house, that passersby admire, but a little clean up is in order. Once you have it up to standard, make it a goal for all who live in the house to maintain.
